Commission Update – June!

Good morning my lovely friends and followers!
I just wanted to stop in and give you all an update on my current commission progress and such!

Last month had me fall behind a bit more, as I was stuck working on the remaining character class icons for FGG Games, and wasn’t able to do much other work aside from that.
However, starting this month, that project is completely done and I’ve already begun working on te next orders!

Here’s a quick look at what’s on he table and my progress thus far:
May Recap:
I finished six pieces for FGG Games, for a total of 20, delivered the order and closed it out. I’m currently awaiting the contract for the next project with them, which looks like will be another book cover, for an RPG Campaign story.
On top of that, I was able to do some more work on the cat pet portrait oil painting I was commissioned to do as a memorial piece.

May was fairly busy and it doesn’t LOOK like a lot got done, if you just look at commissions, but I also revamped the website, created the new VIP funpass, closed out my Patreon, started migrating my merch from Redbubble to Printify (Redbubble will be staying open, I’m just planning for when I can imbed a printify shop on my website) and have been doing a LOT of back-end work to try and get more regular income with my art, so I was working almost nonstop!

June Starting Point

And here’s where I’m at so far with June!
I’m back to working on my commission backlog and trying to catch up on everything. Part of me is frustrated that I’ve only gotten around 4 new commissions in the last two months, however the plus side of that is that my commission list isn’t growing faster than I can get projects done, so I’m still actually catching up and not falling further behind.

I currently have the first three rough sketches of the remaining 9 backlogged commissions handled.
I’ll be finishing these three pieces and working on the next sketches for the backlogged projects over the next few days, and I’m very hopeful that June will see me finally caught up to the requests that came in at the start of this year.

I do want to apologize to everyone who I told this year that it would only take 6-8 weeks to get to, and had it turn out to be a lot longer, because the reality is it SHOULD have only taken that long, but I’m currently still getting curveballs every month that make it almost impossible to get commissions done at a consistent and regular pace.
