Before I get into the updates, I just want to remind everyone that my commissions are open, and I’m taking new orders to be started in Mid-August!
Drop me a DM on my socials, an email, or fill out the contact form here on the site to put in your requests! I’m hoping to get at least ten new orders in the next month- maybe an insurmountable goal, but I need to shoot for the stars right now and go for broke!

I’ve been considering posting daily on here but I can’t think of what all to say on a day by day basis.
I just pulled up a new browser window and opened a bunch of sites that I’m planning to start utilizing.
Since I now have a reliable tool that allows me to schedule posts, I can now put energy into manually posting on sites I wasn’t utilizing heavily in the past or that I’ve been wanting to start utilizing moving forward.
I’ll make an announcement about which sites are going up once they’re actually ready.
I posted a few short-form vids the other day, and I’m reviewing a bunch of my older timelaps vids to potentially start to make new content with them- I also have a BUNCH of recordings I never ended up using, and I’m currently working on creating new vids of all the art I do- after about a month or so I’m gonna get to work compiling a bunch of new video content for Tiktok, Youtube, and FB/insta reels.
The Facebook Page is finally back up and running, as is my DeviantArt, so you can also look forward to a bunch of new posts there, going forward.
I currently have around 45 daily art posts scheduled to post automatically to my FB Page as well as a bunch of other platforms (X, BSky, Insta, Pinterest, Tumblr, and others)
It’s really important to me that my followers engage- I have been buried under algorithms and getting next to no visibility on my art for the last two years, and it’s been rough trying to be seen and just not getting any kind of response. If you follow me anywhere, please consider sharing some posts, commenting on my art, or whatever else!
At the moment I feel like all engagement is good engagement because of how bad it’s been.
On top of all of that, I’m FINALLY actually back to working on commissions.
I know I had a plan to get a bunch of comm sketches done, but I had a few that ended up needing to be finished ASAP so I’m currently working on those and trying to get them pounded out, then I’ll be moving onto those sketches.
So far in the last couple weeks I’ve finished three commissions, started a Third, and I’m more than halfway through a Fourth. This is more progress in two weeks than I’ve made on commissions in any single month since January because of the meds- I feel like I’ve ACTUALLY finally normalized on them, which is a godsend. And it’s not like every other time where I THOUGHT I had normalized only to find out a coupe days later that I was still at the whims of the meds and it was just less noticeable than a week prior.
Which means that on top of the upcoming scheduled posts of older art, there will be a LOT of new art posted coming up very soon, so more to look forward to!
For those of you who have followed along, you know that the last two months were BAD bad, for me.
Thankfully, as of the 3rd, I had gotten rent paid- which means that during June I was able to work my ass off enough to catch up on both May and June rent- May having been an entire month late- and even got July’s rent in on time.
I would have loved to be able to put ANY of that money back into the business or used some of it to do something nice for myself, but as it stands I’m just happy I’m starting July in the black.
That said, I’m also attempting to really get the word out about my VIP Funpass, because I HAVE to get myself a good baseline income, or I just can’t do this for much longer.
If you like seeing me post and doing what I do, then I humbly request that you consider subscribing to the program. You get awesome rewards and for just $5 a month you can help support my art in a REALLY big way- and planning on my upcoming Subscribers-Only Zine is progressing at breakneck speeds, so the first issue should be published for VIP Funpass members before you know it.
I have a couple more days working on these commissions, and then I’ll be switching gears to get as much done as possible with sketches and setting up these new platforms for Ash Something Art.
I hope you all look forward to the expansion and changes I’m going to be making!
As always, thank you so much for your continued support!
I couldn’t do what I do without you all, and I look forward to everything we will create together!
