Good morning party people!
It’s been a couple months since I’ve put out an update here on the site. Things have been hectic for me, and I apologize for the inconsistency!

A big part of the reason I haven’t been updating is because I’ve been trying to recover from everything earlier this year. Not just gettin through things but actively trying to get myself back on top of stuff.

I’m still behind on commissions but I’m currently planning to use October to catch up on them as much as possible. My current goal is to have all of the commssions I currently have on my table done by January 1- which SHOULD be doable, but I’m not sure because of how rough this year has been. I know last year and the year before there were multiple months where I slammed out 10-15 commissions and this year I’ve been having a lot of trouble getting more than 5 done in any one month.

While things have been busy and hectic, unfortunately a lot of the reason for that is “I’ve had my nose to the grindstone trying to work on finances and get these commissions done” and it’s all been going slower than I would have liked due to another series of small emergencies. Which is to say, there has been nothing happening that was really worth updating people about.

The only major thing that’s changed in that time is that I’ve slowly started getting back to recording my art process and making videos for Tiktok, with a series of 11 shortform videos having been posted to my profile in the last month.
But this is a slow process because my focus has been mostly on trying to get art done, so I’ve really only been able to spend a handful of days working on the video editing and such.

There HAS been a good deal of art done over the last couple months, and because of that I’ll be going in today and updating my portfolio here on the website, adding a few new pieces and such.

Anyway, the plan moving forward is, like I said, to get everything handled by Jan 1 so that I can divert my focus from commissions to my tarot card projects, and get them handled finally. I feel like I’ve been stuck in a nebuloud state of waiting for things to get done so I can start that work for nearly two years now and it’s been incredibly frustrating. But they will happen in time, regardless. I just need to force my way through this wall finally.

Anyway, that’s all for the update today, sorry there’s nothing too big, but I figured I owed it to people to get on here and try to at least update you about SOMETHING before I jump in and add to my portfolio!
