This is mostly a placeholder post to give me a start with the upcoming monthly newsletter.
Since this is a beta post, version 0.1, I’m not going to make it paid-subscribers only, but the next newsletter posts will all be paid subscribers only.

As I make the transition from Patreon to running the newsletter and updates primarily from this website as my home base, I’m planning out what and how I’ll be doing so.

My initial ideas for the newsletter are to provide some updates and information every month about myself and my art, as well as any changes that will be coming to the website.
This will include monthly commissions update, for those who have ordered.

After this, I will choose a monthly artist to highlight and show off. These will not be user-submitted, but chosen by me from among the artists I know and follow.
I would also like to include a space detailing some history and samples from an artist who I am inspired by.

Each newsletter will also be published with a special event; These may be season/month specific, or they may be something like a raffle.

For those who follow me who are artists, I may do an advice columb in each newsletter as well. I’m really trying to figure out what people would enjoy the most, based on what I see them posting and interacting with elsewhere, so there’s gonna be a bit of experimenting and a learning curve with it all.

With these plans starting to go into motion, I’m getting everything set up and also attempting to compress down to the bare minimum of social media platforms so I’m not spread so thin all the time.
At the moment I beleive I will be keeping my Facebook page, Instagram, Tumbr, DeviantArt and Reddit, as well as my Redbubble and Twitch. Reddit is pending, as the site is a lot more work than others to upkeep, with each community being like its own social media I have to interact with constantly to maintain visibility.

I will be deleting my Ello, Creatively, ArtStation, Hive and potentially Bluesky.
I will also be deleting my Patreon, however I need to get my subscription tiers here set up so that my patrons there can switch over instead of just using the monthly donation option.

There’s a lot for me to do this month to get everything situated and moved over, andI’ll be trying to work through commissions in the meantime.
Expect an actual Newsletter update towards the end of the month!
