Good morning party people!

For some of you seeing this, such as those on Mastodon, the Ubiquitous Dr Strangelove Tumblr, and my Bluesky, this is the first of many cross-posted updates directly from my website.
To make a lot of my job easier I’m finally unifying everything and operating 95% of my business DIRECTLY through my site, and since you all don’t really know much about me as an artist yet, I also want to take this moment to say Welcome! Glad to have you here, and I thank you so much for your support!

However, this isn’t really an intro post, as I have been VERY active on MANY other platforms for a long time- it is an update for most of those platforms, as well as the direct followers of my site!

So, to business:

Every year I try to go into the year making changes to how I operate based on how the prior year goes. The last two years the changes have been minimal. This was not, however, due to the fact that I didn’t have more changes to make, but because I did not have the energy or time to make the changes. As I have already laid on in (this post) and (this post) a lot has happened the last few years and I had some intense struggles with mental health that I am finally getting through.

And as I laid out in (THIS post) I finally have the energy to have put together a real plan and as of tonight I have started working on it.

The first stages of the plan were started yesterday, even as I was writing those three posts.
Before I went to sleep yesterday, those posts were published and I had set to work scrapping a ton of stuff throughout the internet.

However, I realized a bit of a fallacy with how I was originally planning to deal with the changes, which means I need to essentially undo some of the work, but I’ll be getting to that tonight.

To make sure that people aren’t PRETENDING to be me, I am going to be reactivating any accounts I cancelled, and adding an image to them all that tells people I have left the platform and to find out more here on my website.

That said, here is what has already been done:

• I have linked Bluesky, my FB page and Profile, Instagram, LinkedIn and a few other sites to my blog posts, so they will ALL get regular updates as I update here.
• I have deleted my Artstation account
• I have deleted my Cubebrush account
• I have deleted my Linktree and Beacons accounts
• I have deleted all posts on my Reddit and uploaded a post saying I’m leaving, and will be adding the “Find me here” image as well.
• I have set all images on my Redbubble shop to Private, and put the shop on Hiatus
• I have started the process to delete my Furaffinity profile
• I have deleted my Artistree Profile
• I have deleted my Creatively Profile
• I have started the process to deactivate my DeviantArt profile
• I have made the announcements over Instagram and Facebook that my Ash Something official PAGE is being scrapped.
  I need to revise this announcement as I will need to keep the page active for my and my clients’ protection, and relegate it to being a Crosspost-only page, that gets updates from my website blog only.
• I have removed the links to Twitch, Facebook, Insta, DeviantArt and my Redbubble shop from my website here, and reformatted the home page a bit.

Still on the menu for me to do today:
If I’m honest, there’s gonna be a lot, and I don’t know WHICH items I will be getting to tonight, but a general idea is as follows:

• Reactivate the abovementioned DELETED accounts so I can keep my @ and prevent anyone from pretending to be me on them.
• Create a “Streaming on Hiatus, See my Website for where to find me active” video as my Twitch Trailer
• Continue the process to reduce my presence on the rest of the sites mentioned above, find any other erroneous accounts Ash Something Art has and similarly add posts directing people to the website
• Update my Commercial pricing
• Revise my TOS for ease of access and to make it shorter and more readily understood
• Revise the website’s Commission Request form
• Review and revise the VIP Funpass Membership and ubscriber benefits
• Set all existing FB images to Friends Only
• Create and add a loose Schedule to my About section
• Plus a lot of other shit

I don’t want this update to be too long, and have it get in the way of everything I need to get done, I’ve already spent an hour putting it together- anyway, there’s a LOT of canges coming over the next week or so, and I apologize in advance for what I am sure will be a LOT of updates like this one coming during that time.
