Good morning party people!
It’s been awhile since I’ve made a post for the site, which I apologize about. Life has been fairly hectic with me trying to keep afloat, and there hasn’t really been a lot of new information that I’ve felt like I could post about here.
With the economy being what it is, I haven’t been able to do a lot of new art as I’ve been grinding almost non-stop for the last few months to get new contracts and clients.
But that’s boring stuff you guys don’t want to hear about.
Today, I woke up to an email from WordPress where they announced that the subscription tier I’m on is now qualified to use Plugins!
For those of you unaware, one of my large goals last year was to attempt to upgrade from the Pro to the Business subscription so that I could get access to Plugins here, which would allow me to port my Printify shop directly into the website and allow you all to purchase prints and merch directly through the site instead of having to bounce to a third party site, create a separate login, and so on.
So, with access to plugins I immediately got to work setting up WooCommerce and Printify so that now you can sign up as a customer, add prints to your cart, checkout and pay all within this website, with no extra hassle! I’m really excited about this change!
All you have to do is head over to http://ashsomething.art/shop/ to see the new storefront and all the prints I currently offer, right here on the website!
Now that I have this option, it’s like a massive roadblock has been lifted out from in front of me, and I can start working on getting some of my other artwork set up and arranged as t-shirts, stickers, and other such- I was hesitant to do any of that before because Printify’s native shop doesn’t have a search option or a way for me to organize my prints by name or type, or what have you.
But the integration here on the website comes with a search bar, which makes it much easier to navigate for if you want a tshirt, or a poster, and so on.
On top of that, I have some plans coming soon for new art (and a couple pieces in progress that I’m excited to finally get up onto the store once they’re done!)
Anyway, small update and that’s all for today! I hope you guys are as excited about this change as I am!
